Holidays in the Park and Live Nativity This Weekend
This weekend there are some exciting events taking place in Chastain Park. On Saturday December 13 from 4-6pm The Chastain Park Conservancy presents the 4th Annual Holidays in the Park.
Here are details from the CPC Facebook Page
The Chastain Park Holiday Tree has arrived and that can only mean one thing. Santa is on his way to “Holidays in the Park.” He’ll be coming in a big red fire truck to the corner of West Wieuca and Powers Ferry and stopping at the tennis center. So kids, get your lists ready.
Then, please join the CPC on December 13 from 4-6 PM for our 4th annual end of year celebration. After Santa arrives at 4:15, we’ll have pictures with him, ornament making, live entertainment from the Georgia Boy Choir and Sutton Middle School Choir. Plus, we’ll have cookies, cocoa and coffee from our friends at The Fresh Market, Starbucks and Galloway Grounds.
It’s our way of saying thanks for your support and wishing you a happy holiday from the Chastain Park Conservancy.
After Holidays in the Park, head just down Powers Ferry Road to Sardis Church for the Live Nativity from 6-8pm. Here are details from their website
Saturday and Sunday December 13th and 14th 6:00-8:00 p.m. A DRAMATIC PRESENTATION OF THE STORY OF JESUS’BIRTH FEATURING LIVE ANIMALS AND ALL YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS STORY CHARACTERS!
