Chastain Park Cleanup

This morning I took part in a volunteer project in Chastain Park along with the Chastain Park Conservancy.  There were several members of the Conservancy helping out along with people from different organizations including the CDC and the US Public Health Service.  The amount of leaves that we raked up was absolutely astonishing…making me feel much better about the leaves in my own yard.  After finishing the job we went to the “barn” and enjoyed a cookout.  Here are some pictures:

Founded in 2003, the Chastain Park Conservancy (CPC) is a volunteer, not-for-profit, organization dedicated to stewardship and renewal of  Chastain Park’s natural and developed resources.
