Chastain Chill Resumes in 2010

May 4, 2010

We finally made it out to Chastain Chill today with the kids and remembered why this weekly event in Chastain Park is so special.  Jay Memory was laying down the beats while the kids played on the playground, danced to the music and enjoyed being in the park.  Jay does an awesome job engaging the children, while at the same time playing music that makes it fun for the adults.

None of this would be possible without all of the sponsors out there.  Willy’s of course is back in 2010 as a sponsor along with My Gym, Northside Tool Rental & Saddlecreek Design LLC.  My Gym had two associates in the park with hoolahoops, ring toss and other fun games for the kids which was a great addition.

Chastain Chill takes place every Tuesday afternoon from 4-7pm through the month of July.  Jay Memory sets up a big red tent just under the Chastain Park playground, so if you pass by and see the tent, be sure and stop by for a while.

I wish I had a good answer for you Gretchen but I really don’t. I suppose Jay could have been off due to the holiday, or the weather predictions…but I never saw any announcements that it wouldn’t be going on. Hope you’ll come back.
