Chastain Park Green Market

April 10, 2010

This morning on our way to NYO baseball practice we stopped by the Chastain Park Green Market which is held each Saturday morning in the Horseradish Grill parking lot.  One of Henry’s favorite things in the world is bacon and the first stop was at the Pine Street Market.  She was cooking up handmade salami and bacon…an excellent introduction to the market.  Another fun thing we found was “cake pops” by Grant Street Sweets.  As you can imagine in April the market was not filled with fresh produce and flowers, but feel assured they will come.  Below are some pictures from the market.

How smart of them to add art and antiques! Brilliant and just oh so Buckhead. Seriously, it’s smart and will attract new customers for the farmers!
