Chastain Park Arts Festival
This weekend, October 17 & 18, Chastain Park will host the first Chastain Park Arts Festival. According to the website, www.ChastainParkArtsFestival.com, the festival will feature close to 100 fine painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craftpersons, glass blowers, jewelers and more! The Festival will also offer visitors the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, participate in hands-on arts activities, and enjoy festival foods and beverages.
They are going all out with this one and there is a ton of information on their website about the event.
Here are some quick tidbits:
The hours are 10am – 6pm on Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday
Admission is Free!
There will be alcohol sales inside the festival and the proceeds will benefit Big Trees Preserve
There will be food and merchandise sales as well inside the festival
No dogs are allowed inside the festival area
Parking will be available in the Red lot as well as the other Park parking lots

There was a festival in Chastain Park about a dozen years ago. I’m so excited that another is coming!!! Hopefully this will become a yearly event.
